Eli Meyer: Rocket Scientist, Environmentalist, Co-conspirator
Eli comes from an extensive background in architectural design and engineering. Living in the mountain communities of the Sierra for 20 years is an inspiration for his work. Eli directed the Sierra Green Building Association for over a decade, forging relationships between industry professionals and local agencies to promote and educate responsible building practices.
As a Kings Beach resident, Eli is happy to serve his local North Tahoe community, offering services in residential ADU, Additions and Renovation design.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time skiing and electric dirt biking in his North Tahoe community. When he gets off the mountain, you may find him volunteering at Truckee Roundhouse with Keep Truckee Green during free Fix-it clinics.
Eli also enjoys time with his crew at Obtainium Works fabricating kinetic art out of repurposed industrial detritus. Eli’s current projects include Robot Rumble, an interactive RC-robot battle with robots made from pure Obtainium*.
*Obtainium = that which can be obtained instead of consuming new, including used, upcycled, salvaged and repurposed materials.
