What is Keep Truckee Green?

It is the Town of Truckee’s sustainability, solid waste, and resiliency division. As part of the Town’s Neighborhood Services and Sustainability Department, we coordinate the planning and implementation of our Town’s waste reduction and climate change programs. In partnership with our community, we foster culture to proactively address climate change and lead by example.

The Keep Truckee Green Division is guided by an interdisciplinary Sustainability Committee, which includes staff from all Town divisions.

Cinder Garden Designs projects with Keep Truckee Green:

* Weatherize Truckee- Weatherization pilot program for low to middle-income households.
* Free Fixit Clinics at Truckee Roundhouse, hosted twice per year
* Free Clothing Fixit Clinics at Truckee Roundhouse, hosted monthly.
