The Man burns in just 87 days… so this is the season of Pre-Compression events and fundraisers.
This Saturday, big sound camp DISTRIKT is hosting a massive Burning Man fundraiser… with four Areas of Sound featuring 30 DJ’s and kinetic fire artists, the Flaming Lotus Girls.
Funds raised will support the new 80 foot “HUGE” stage design at Burning Man this year, MORE Funktion One sound and improvements to the bar, lighting and Bordello.
The venue is the historic Oakland landmark, 16th Street Train Station, with indoor and outdoor party space. Expect food and drink vendors, and bring your ID. This event is 21+.
DISTRIKT is a non-profit electronic music collective with a mission of giving back to the electronic music and alternative arts community; a desire to throw furious & fierce parties in the desert and elsewhere throughout the year; an urge to provide venues for music, dancing, and other art forms; an arrested development inability to let go and an ambition to try something new.
