Come Play with Hot Wax – November 21

I’ll be teaching one more Encaustic painting workshop before I relocate to Tahoe for the winter. This will be the last workshop until March or April.

We’ll be experimenting with stacking and layering wood substrates to create 3-dimensional paintings with a hot beeswax medium and an open flame torch. What could be more fun than painting with fire? This is a versatile and sultry medium that begs to be layered, embedded and scraped.
