At Obtainium Works, we joke about Safety Third, but we actually take safety pretty seriously. We don’t consume alcohol until 6:00, when the work day is done, the bell is rung and the Safety Meeting is called.
The meeting begins with the whole crew toasting with shot a of whiskey or rum, in our beautiful hand-made copper shot cups. The toast is… “Head, Nose, Fingers, Toes” to show gratitude for no injuries that day.
These beautiful cups are hand-made by Obtainium Works crew member Mike Snowden, of Hammer in Hand. Mike has begun making these cups again, after having lost his home in the California wildfires.
